South Carolina falls to Vanderbilt in elimination game of SEC Tournament
HOOVER, Ala. (AP) - Conrad Gregor singled home the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Vanderbilt a 4-3 win over South Carolina Thursday in an elimination game of the Southeastern Conference tournament.
Tony Kemp led off with a single and the top-seeded Commodores (49-8) eventually loaded the bases with one out against three relievers.
The Gamecocks (39-18) had intentionally walked Connor Harrell, who had two hits. Gregor delivered his second single of the game to score Kemp.
