USC alumni center to open in the Vista
A new distinctive building in downtown Columbia will be home to the more than 260,000 USC alumni.
The university announced a 60,000 square foot alumni center Wednesday that will be built on the corner of Senate and Lincoln Street. That's right between the Hilton Hotel and the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
The alumni center and the convention center will be linked through an underground connector.
Construction is tentatively scheduled for spring of next year.
